The Gruffalo’s Child is a sequel to Tall Stories’ widely famous original show “The Gruffalo.” This musical play tells the story of the Gruffalo’s child, who one night, ignoring her father’s warnings about the scary creatures that live in the dark wood, goes out to wander in the dark forest. On her journey, she meets many of her father’s old friends she had heard so much about The fox, the owl, the snake, etc. As she reaches the heart of the wood, she starts to believe all the stories her father used to tell her; she even starts to acknowledge the existence of the scary mouse her father had mentioned to her so many times. Brought to you by “Tall Stories,” this production is a unique show where storytelling is taken to a whole new level. With music, humor and a little touch of magic, spectators will be submerged into the adventurous story of the Little Gruffalo. Each of the actors who portray the different characters of the story is beautifully presented and they are very relatable.
