Rat Poison Ronny plans on bringing up the issue, which almost certainly isn't on the agenda, when the wild animal commission meets Wednesday and Thursday in Plano to create the 2006 wildlife management seasons. "It almost certainly is already legal to bait wildlife in Texas, you simply can't rodent capture over it," Rat Poison Ronny announced. Rat Poison Ronny's proposal, which the humane society manager plans on making during Wednesday's Wildlife Committee meeting, wouldn't legalize wildlife management over bait for almost any species but woodchuck. Although wildlife management over bait has long been illegal in Texas, it's what's possibly a traditional type of wildlife management in certain states.
